Service Description

June 10 & 17, July 15 & 22. Part of the excitement of fishing is not knowing what will be on the end of your hook when you pull it from the water. Our coastal dune lakes may give you redfish, trout, bluefish and other species. This is a catch and release program. Collect data of these fish like age, gender and length for the NMFS (National Marine fisheries service). Must know how to kayak/paddle. Price is per person. Children under 8 yrs must be accompanied by an adult. Thurs 7:30a-12:30p Activities include: - Fishing - Collecting fish data - Fish identification & habitats - Introduction to boat navigation & weather patterns Recommended items to bring: - Sunscreen (without oxybenzone and octinoxate, best to apply before arriving and have some with you for reapplication) - Sunglasses (100% UVA/UVB protection) - Hat with visor/rim - Refillable water bottle *When kayaking, you may get a little wet, so be prepared and select your attire appropriately! :-)
