July 13, 20,27. Did you know there are patterns in our oceans? Surfers study these to catch the best waves. Learn these patterns and catch some tasty waves at the beach! Up to 60 percent of all marine creatures live in the inner tidal zone where the waves crash such as crabs, juvenile fish and plankton. Must be a great swimmer! Price is per person. Children under 8 yrs must be accompanied by an adult. Wed 9a-12p Activities include: - Beginner surf lessons - Sea critter studies in tidal region - Collection and studies of tidal debris - Wave STEM craft, build your own wave Recommended items to bring: - Sunscreen (without oxybenzone and octinoxate, best to apply before arriving and have some with you for reapplication) - Sunglasses (100% UVA/UVB protection) - Refillable water bottle - Towel
